Ganapati ‘Gans’ Srinivasa, Co-founder, CTO

 

Ganapati Srinivasa is a Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Omics Data Automation (ODA). Prior to co-founding ODA in 2016, Srinivasa served as chief architect of several generations of multi-core Xeon processors at Intel. In that role he led the pathfinding team credited with cutting compute time for whole genome sequencing from a week to a day. Prior to Intel, Srinivasa worked with Mentor Graphics, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, and Wipro. He holds 39 U.S. patents across multiple disciplines, including: bioinformatics, genomics, medical imaging, processor architecture, and enterprise computing. Srinivasa received his Bachelor of Engineering from University of Madurai, India, and his Master of Engineering from School of Automation, Indian Institute of Science.
